St. John is fully handicap accessible. An elevator is located near the parking lot double door entrance.
Pastor Shawn O'Brien was installed as our pastor on August 23rd, 2009.
Pastor Shawn O’Brien came to Williston from Miamisburg, Ohio,
a small town/suburb south of Dayton where he served as pastor for over eight
years.
His first call was to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Crestview Hills,
Kentucky, where he served as assistant pastor and director of youth ministries
for just over three years.
Pastor O’Brien is a graduate of the University of
Cincinnati (Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice) and Trinity Lutheran
Seminary (Masters of Divinity) in Columbus.
Pastor O’Brien has worked with Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio and served on various board and committees in the Indiana Kentucky and Southern Ohio Synods. He and his wife Megan have two boys.
