Williston Encounter -Wednesday Lunch Program
St. John Lutheran Church in Williston is serving a FREE lunch, Wednesdays at noon throughout the summer. Each week a new activity is planned for kids of all ages. On the schedule are crafts, games, scavenger hunt, nature walk, wild life demonstration, visit from the fire department, working in our community garden and much more! Come for lunch and stay for the fun!
Essential Jesus Challenge
You are invited to join with your St. John family as we re-commit ourselves to the study of scripture with the Essential Jesus Challenge; 100 readings in both the Old and New Testaments about life/teaching/ministry of Jesus. Instead of 3 each week, like we did last time with the E100, we will focus on one reading each week. Hopefully this will give us more time on each reading rather than feeling rushed and behind each week. The Adult Sunday school class will be focusing on the readings each week. The reading as well as questions for thought and discussion will be post on the St. John Facebook page and therefore the "News" tab of this site. Please contact Pastor O'Brien with any questions.
